Red Rock Fitness is based in Karratha, Western Australia and consists of mother/daughter duo Jan Newburn and April Butt. Jan being the personal trainer and April being the Nutritionist. They believe regular physical activity in conjunction with a nourishing whole foods diet is the key to living a happy and healthy life...you can't have one without the other! much like these two.
They take pride in delivering a high quality, professional service to each and every customer and were recently awarded the Business Excellence award for "Best Home Based Business" for 2017 and 2016 highlighting their expertise in the industry.

Jan has 20 years experience in the fitness industry during which she has instructed group fitness classes, personal training and managed a health and fitness club, now resulting in running her own Personal and Group training business and opening a Private Studio. Having experience in numerous different training methods over the years means that her approach to fitness and training is well educated, extremely dynamic and most importantly; personalised to the clients needs and 

What Jan offers:
  • One on one personal training sessions for men and women ($50 for 30 minutes). Taken place either out doors, or at Jan's Private Studio)
  • Outdoor group training sessions for men and women ($20 per casual session, membership options available), running at various times and locations throughout the morning/day/night....Click 'Services, Training Times and Prices' for further info)
  • Training styles include: Body resistance, TRX, Boxing, Weight bearing, Cardio, Stretch and Flexibility, Balance training, Re-habilitation, Sports specific and Obstacle training
  • Corporate and community health talks and training packages

April believes that Nutritional medicine coupled with holistic health techniques are the most powerful tools we have for achieving optimum health and wellbeing. 
During a consultation with April she uses systematic questioning and pathology testing to unlock the route cause of where your symptoms or conditions are stemming from, believing that when we stop and listen to symptoms - rather than covering them up and ignoring them, we really have the potential to heal and thrive. "These last four months has been an epic journey for me. I have learned so much about living healthy - about food options and exercise but mostly about ME!
It has been a journey of rediscovering myself and “reconnecting” with my body- working out what works for me and what doesn’t, and doing things I was always told I would never be able to do! I still don’t like the actual exercising - absolutely HATE the flies - lol! - and it is not easy getting up early in the mornings - BUT - I am totally in love with the way regular exercising makes me feel. The way strengthening my body reduced the number of mornings I wake up with muscle spasm and migraines and the fact that being fit  - and loosing weight - helps a lot with dealing with my back issues. Not to mention the awesome feeling of fitting into my old clothes again! :)
