Ingredients:
4 lemons, sliced thinly 1 cup ginger, julienned 1 cup raw honey Method: In a medium sized, glass jar alternately layer the ginger, lemon and honey resulting in around 4 layers. Cover and stand for 2 hours + and the lemon will release it's juices and blend with the honey and ginger. Refrigerate and use as needed. HOW TO USE: --For a hot tea add one tablespoon of the mixture to recently boiled water --For lemonade, add 1 tablespoon for every 2 cups iced or sparkling water --For a sore throat, or upset stomach take 1 Tablespoon on an empty stomach as needed. Why is this so GOOD? --Lemons are rich in Vitamin C and other antioxidants that promote immunity and fight infection. They are a fantastic digestive tonic by stimulating digestive juices and cleansing the liver. --Ginger stimulates circulation particularly in the abdomen and pelvic region, hence being so wonderful for nausea and stomach cramping. It too is a fantastic digestive tonic by encouraging the release of digestive juices. --Honey has been documented for its use medicinally in Ayurveda medicine for over 4000 years. It is strongly antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and soothing making it one of the best all-round remedies nature has to offer.
