Does anyone else love Turmeric as much as me?! I'm sure that's a huge HELL YES
from many of you - How many meals can we squeeze it into!? Well, now we have it in dessert too! Ingredients: 20 medjool dates, pips removed (you can use traditional dried dates, but I recommend soaking them in hot water before use) 2 C of nuts (I used almonds and cashews) 2 T coconut oil 1/2 C raw cacao 2 T turmeric powder (plus extra for dusting - or see notes below for a delicious dusting alternative) 2 T chia seeds 1/4 C flaxseeds, ground Method: Add the nuts into the food processor and whizz until you have created a rough flour. Add all remaining ingredients and whizz until it starts to come together like a thick dough. Line a baking dish with baking paper, and press the mixture firmly into it, creating a dense slice. Leave to set in the refrigerator, for around 3 hours. Remove from the fridge and dust with extra turmeric, slice into bite sized pieces and consume with a smile. Store in the fridge. NOTE: Check out www.healr.com.au for the most delicious turmeric spice mix ever, this has become my morning Turmeric latte and NOW it's my turmeric choc fudge dusting too!
